Gujarat government employees will have to wait for the right time to increase their DA

Now, central employees will get 9% DA in basic pay-pensions now, with a two percent increase in seven percent DA. Now this increase will benefit 48.41 lakh central employees and 62.03 lakh pensioners.
As per the recommendation of Seventh Pay Commission, the central government is increasing the DA-DR. The Gujarat State Employees Association and the Gujarat State Employee Coordination Committee and the Federation have repeatedly demanded for two percent DA increase from Jan-18. Finally, the Chief Minister has given a memorandum to the agitation on September 12 if the question of DA including the DAE is not resolved. The Congress has also demanded an increase of 4% DA from the Congress with the employees of the state. State Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel has said that the first beneficiary of the Seventh Pay Commission is the only Gujarat State.
